In the beginning.............!

George & Karen started out with the purchase of 20 acres at Tynong North in West Gippsland, Victoria where Karen continued with her interests in Appaloosas.

Three children eventually made up the family and the horses increased, with Victoria and Craig joining of Cannibal Creek Pony Club, Garfield, Victoria and Jeremy taking up his passion for golf.

Braunvieh were looked at during a visit to Farm World, Warragul back in 2004 and eventually in 2005 we started our herd of Fullblood (Swiss Original) Braunvieh.

When EI hit the equestrian world, we became more heavily involved in showing which resulted in us taking out Supreme Braunvieh Exhibit at National Beef, Bendigo, as well as other high achievements with our females.

Due to our heavy involvement with the horses we have taken a break from cattle showing.

We are still committed to the improvement of our Swiss Original Braunvieh herd and have moved our herd over to the Braunvieh Beef Australia Inc. herd book.

We are striving to increase muscle without effecting milk production and temperament.

Our cover Swiss Original Braunvieh is the type of animal we are striving to breed and she looks like passing on her genetics with the recent birth of a lovely heifer calf.
