As an export orientated business, MENNEKES has also acquired the product certifications of international institutions in several relevant fields.

Regulations

MENNEKES plugs and receptacles conform to relevant national and international standards. After plugs and receptacles are tested by independent organisations like VDE (Association of German Electrical Engineers), records according to CCA- or CB-II-procedures are established which then serve as basis for approval in other countries, in particular countries whose national test marks are given below. Due to special national regulations not every device can receive a general worldwide approval.

Through tightening the cable gland, the cable grip works automatically and the gasket seals simultaneously. Nickel plated contacts are also available with high heat resistant contact carriers for higher corrosion resistance in aggressive environments.

SoftCONTACT and TorsionSpringCONTACT

SoftCONTACT in 63A connectors and TorsionSpringCONTACTs in 125A connectors reduce friction during plugging and unplugging. Another advantage is: the contacts are self-cleaning during inserting and with-drawing. This provides improved electrical connection.
