Uncle Anil was an accountant and he gave it up for some reason and became a writer. He writes for a Malaysian magazine called Aliran and he writes about the government and talks about what the government is doing. He has also written some stories about me in Aliran and has written about Mak Mandin. He always liked to help the poor like Sister and my mother and he always has been good to the kids at Sister's Learning Centre. All of the people who know him love him because he really is a very good person to be with. He wrote a poem about me in a book called "Seeing Christ in Others". The Poem he wrote in 1996.
He has helped Sister with the medical camps and the jumble sales at Mak Mandin. I can remember the time Uncle Anil (my Godfather) and I were in charge of the money at the front gate. Uncle Anil was doing the maths and I was collecting the money and giving the people back their change. He has helped Sister by coming to teach us at the Learning Centre few times too. Anil has helped Sister by bringing Sister and myself to and from Church anytime he could. He lives and works in Penang and he come back to Butterworth to see his parents at the weekend.
I have been to his place in Penang; I go there anytime I can. I went there with some of my friends one day. We went there and we all went swimming with him. I go there everytime I go back to Malaysia for my holidays at the end of the year. Uncle Anil picks me up from the airport with my mother and Sister. I always liked to be with him at his place and to have fun there. The last time I went back to Malaysia I went to stay with him, he took Sister, my mother and myself to see a movie. He always looks after me very well.
When I went back for Christmas in 2001 I went to stay with him when Uncle Clem and Auntie Liz were there. We did lots of thing together like going to see the movie "The Lord Of the Rings the Fellowship of the Rings".
