The station is located in William Street Newborough. Newborough is a relatively small and rather insignificant place about 125km east of Melbourne, Victoria on the Princess Highway or Highway One as it is often called.
Monitoring the Mt Baw-Baw and Mt Tassie 2 metre repeaters. HF reception and transmission facilities on 160, 80, 40 and 15 metre bands via a short horizontal wire, antenna tuner and ground radial system.Workshop to rebuild and test veteran transmitters, receivers and test equipment.
