We went to Art Melbourne and I had a number of pieces sold through the
Serigraph Gallery Stall including this big piece called female form
which had previously been at Jack's at Jindivick. Here is where it went to
and it looks good down the end of the property |
I had to do about 7 birds and 5 dogs over the month and also two pelicans
and a peacock |
The Art Teacher's Art exhibition is coming up in May where a range of art
teachers from around the district put on a show at the West Gippsland Arts
Centre. I decided to do " teacher marks" so the big tick and big cross
were part of my ideas |
This one is the big tick before painting and putting on the redgum block |
I sold the Chinese symbol at the wild dogs exhibition but the people wanted
it capable of going outside so I had to take out the mosaic on the chip
board and make metal backing and apply new mirror mosaic. This took a bit of
time and I delivered this to the property. |

Some one had seen one of my screens and wanted a pair of gates for a garden. |
Someone else saw the fairy from last month and supplied me with a range of
gear including a bugle and an iron and asked me to make a positive girl
sculpture from it |
Having done the big wheel forms I tried a smaller piece( a section of the
wheel) called slice. This had an outing in the Trafalgar Rotary show and
also at Gembrook market and Mirboo North art show. |
I did two screens over the month. |
I had done some spring seats in the past but someone gave me a trike seat so
I made another. This one went to Gembrook market and ended up at
Macclesfield Primary school. |
