This is the next in the series of large circular forms . This one has an
eccentric hole so is called eccentric. I have entered it in the Yering
Station Sculpture exhibition
Dogs were popular this month and I made 13 of them of which this is one. I
stopped all my markets last month so these dogs went to Town and Country
Gallery at Yarragon, Serigraph Gallery at Neerim Sth and also to rebuild my
stock which had been quite depleted
I did two pelicans this month
Only 5 birds were done but they still are fun
Only one cat but I reckon I'm getting better at Cats
I entered the Brunswick Street Gallery small works show and did these three
pieces for it. I did them in a bit of a rush and although they looked ok
they didn't attract much attention at the show. ( 1000 people on the opening
night with 300 or so artists all entering 3 to 10 pieces!!) This one is
based on a juggler in a Jeffrey Smart painting as I really liked the pose
This one I called expectant as she seemed perched as if waiting for
something
And this one is Looking .. a man and a dogIn thinking about them after the show had finished I thought that they were not really saying anything so I modified them ( see next month.)
