I
For the "up exhibition Marian suggested that I recycle some of my
sculptures. My mower man from the Gipplsand exhibition was good in his
original form but modifying for the exhibition was both easy and fun. He
looks quite appropriate mowing in this manner and the cape gives him a class
all of his own |
Shopper from the Gippsland exhibition was modified to hold a balloon with
her small dog attached. The title of this piece is he has arthritis which
would be a great way of "walking" the dog ( although he might have trouble
when he needed to smell a lamp pole. |
This table originally had a glass top but it got scratched. I got some great
old timber from the wood recycler and thought it would be better for a new
top for this piece. I reckon it looks good. |
I
finally finished this piece for the up exhibition and made it a base to
support the mirror safely. It is in the bridge series of work and
looks quite impressive. |
Again a recycled piece for the up exhibition and the two characters give it
a charm of a hopeless task! I called it where do we go from here . |
A new piece for the exhibition. I thought a giant arrow would be good and
the frame means it can be turned in any direction. |
This piece is also new for the up exhibition and is called the high
chair. The pose is slightly reminiscent of Ron Meucks gian wild man that we
saw recently at McLelland Gallery |
