This is one of the 6 chairs I have done so far this month. We had an order
from Alexandra Rotary show for 4 chairs, 4 birds, and 2 pelicans and I have
worked hard finishing them |
 
A friend asked me to do a series of frames held together with junk. She is
going to fill each frame with photos and pictures. She also wanted some
candle holders to go around the frames using seat springs. |
Another junk table which went at Gembrook market. This had a pruning saw
which was also able to be used as a hook. |
I also decided to do some homage's for the Art Teacher's Art exhibition and the big chair is in homage to my
friend Grant who was the first art teacher I had seen to actually
practice his art outside of class. One of his pieces was of a huge
overstuffed armchair in blue and green and this is my reflection on it.(
about 25 years later!) |
I hadn't done any mosaic work for a while so I bought some new tiles and did
a few leaves and flowers. This one also went at Gembrook market |
