I did this small piece for the 9 by 5 exhibition at walker St Gallery. I left it a bit late but made teh wing from aluminium sheet.
Forces of nature
I made this piece originally for a small sculpture show. When it was not accepted it sat around for a bit. For my show untold stories I completed the ball and added a stand so it can better be displayed.
Perception
This was originally for he Who explores show at Walker St Gallery. They didnt get enough good entries( Mine included) so it also sat around. I have mounted this so it is now an outside sculpture and it also is in the untold stories exhibition.
This piece is called “perception” and deals with peoples focus on external or individual concerns and overlooking of the main problem. The “earth” form is breaking apart( the claw is now painted green) and this reflects on the current global warming problem( the egg is hatching).
