Renewal
All the hills near me have this effect on the top. I wanted to reproduce it
so I used used nails on cut out shapes. It looked good but a bit bleak so I
added the sun to give a sense of new life( certainly lots of the trees have
growths sprouting from their sides and they do have a certain spartan
beauty) |
Wheeler
Dealer"
I added to the bridge form that I had earlier
constructed. It was on show at Jinks Creek winery but the mirror got broken.
It looked a bit pathetic so I created a top part with lots of wheel forms.
and added the bow tie!

Yucca
This was an order and it took me a bit of time to figure
out how to do it. I now have two more orders for something similar!
|
Table for arch
This was another order . I had previously done a
large arch and two seats and the lady now wanted a table to fit between the
seats. It looked good!
|
Two
heart seat
Another seat but this time with two
hearts
|

Seat with round panel
This is another seat with a small circle of
"junk".
It is on show at The Jindivick Country Gardener at

Chinese
seats and tables
Another order but I got it wrong a
bit. It was for a chinese lady and I thought a chinese luck symbol in the
back of the seat would be appropriate. I looked it up on the internet
and found a number of possibilities. I chose the one that would work best
with welding and did it. When I told this to my customer she could not find
the symbol on the net and when I looked it had vanished from where I found
it. I took out the symbols and made an abstract design instead!

The
lady in the tower
I think this piece is also for the show
untold stories. It uses a nice couple of machine parts and a rather lovely
"beanstalk" |
Table of Chaos
This was an order for a gallery. It now is on show at Kongwak Gallery

Mosaic Table
I hadn't made any tables for a while and I had some nice mirrors ready to go
so I put together this piece |
