I
have done about 6 dogs so far but this one has an interesting neck |
Another of my childhood series. Umbrella and sandcastles |
I dont think I had this screen last month but I have made at least two so
far |
Some one saw the shipping news at the Morwell exhibition and asked if they
could have a version with a sail boat as their husband was a sailor |
I entered the inspired exhibition where they tell you the title on Friday
and you hand it in on Sunday. The topic was greetings and had to include an
olive branch. This is my first piece and has a boat arriving and presenting
an live branch. It has echoes of white settlement and boat people and the
character on the shore could be cheering or worried |
This is the second piece I did and involves a hand made out of square tube
holding an olive branch with each of the leaves turning into a person with a
greeting pose. A salute a hug a cheer and a wave. The exhibition had a
height limit of 500 mm and I had to cut the original down to achieve this.
It is a bit cramped but I reckon its good |
A seat that went to Alexandra Rotary show and generated a bout three
orders for more seats( still time in the month to do them!) |
Ben wanted a rampant Dragon to celebrate a visit from a welsh friend. He is
a bit ugly but he does stand and has smoke coming from the nostrils |
Some people at Gembrook wanted a bird looking down , a dog looking up and a
goanna on a tree. I really like this goanna |
A peacock with a flat bar tail( 2 done so far this month) |
An order from Gembrook for a table with shelves. |
This is the dog for the order . They wanted him to stand up on a log looking
up |
