Stormvue shows a minute by minute account of Lightning activity in the map area. Using the controls at the top of the screen, the map can be zoomed in or out and recent activity can be replayed. The map is centered on Warragul.

So what do the symbols mean?

Lightning comes in several different “flavours” It can be  cloud to cloud or within a cloud either positive (+IC) or negative (-IC) or Cloud to ground positive (+CG) or negative (-CG)

As time from the strike passes, the strikes “age” from yellow for a new strike through to dark red for 45 to 60 minutes old.
