Asset Output
Optimisation (Total Productive Maintenance)
How do we differ?
Asset Output
Optimisation, is a disciplined
identification and elimination of asset and system effectiveness
losses and waste.

- We identify functions and
associated performance levels.
- In addition
to
the standard 'six big losses', we analyze
for
management
and authority induced losses and
sources of waste.
- We analyse at root cause level.
- If you don't get any warning, and you should,
modify
the design to include a sensor, gauge, alarm, etc.
- We then discuss the effects of losses or waste
and
- assess risk, by
multiplying values for
severity, likelihood and detectability.
- We provide information and
decision analysis sheets.
- In addition to task and frequency, we ask for
duration and
required resources, as this is what the planner
needs.
We
link the Overall Asset Effectiveness
performance indicator to
also assess the performance of your personnel.
