Our Collies
Our dogs, along with our cats and chooks and pony, have the run of two acres at Athlone, just south of Drouin 90 km. east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
They are socialized early with visiting children and grandchildren, and are allowed inside the house individually under supervision. They also learn about the cows and farm machinery on adjoining properties, and have access to quiet time in purpose-built kennels with shelter from the weather and shade from many trees.
From puppy hood, they are fed a varied diet prepared in the house kitchen, with care being taken to ensure excellent nutrition, and strong teeth & bones. All breeding stock is eye-tested and hip-scored. Puppies are vet-checked and sold only with certificated satisfactory scores on eye-tests conducted by specialist Ophthalmologic Veterinary practitioners.
